Preventing Gum Disease

  • Floss between the teeth. Flossing at least once a day can help removes food and debris that may be hidden between the teeth.
  • Use mouthwash.
  • Visit the dentist. Dr. Cheung recommends that patients visit our Sudbury dental office at least twice a year for preventive care exams. During your preventive care exam, Dr. Cheung will thoroughly examine the teeth, gums, mouth, and bone structure for any signs of gum disease.
